Music Festival Wizard, a renowned international source on festivals all over the world, has recognized Country Summer in The Top 25 Most Popular Country Music Festivals for 2019.
Founded in 2009, Music Festival Wizard is “dedicated to covering the scene, the experience and the music with news, lineups, reviews and commentary.”
Country Summer, well-established as a destination country music event, has earned many awards and national accolades in its first six years. Last year, it was also voted Best Annual Festival and Best Music Festival or Series in The Press Democrat Readers Choice 2019 awards.
In 2019, Country Summer attracted more than 30,000 fans representing five countries. Saturday, headlining Tim McGraw on June 15, was a sell-out and the biggest music event in Sonoma County history.
The festival gets bigger every year, and expectations are high for 2020. Fourteen nationally known country music stars will perform on the Chevy Silverado Stage, the main stage. Popular up-and-coming artists will perform on the Redwood Credit Union Stage between main acts.
Eric Church, Kelsea Ballerini and Chris Young headline the 2020 event. Additional artists in the lineup will be announced soon.
